Brief History
Since its commencement about 40 years back in the name and style of Sangam Prakashan, the group has reliably distinguished striking subjects identifying with India and its legacy and charged the best ability to work together to deliver high quality books that are treasures of knowledge in themselves.
With a sole aim of providing quality books par excellence, our books have ventured to the far corners of the planet and found a home among the schools, distributors and bookshops. We keep on being motivated by India’s unimaginably rich past and have prominent imaginative personalities of the country as our book creators. Effectively riding convention and advancement, our books convey the substance of a scholastic and they are open to a wide readership.
As a medium-sized publishing and distributing house, we have the advantage of being guided by our interests– a thought that ties our devoted group. It is with this aim of advancement that we have wandered towards a successful journey and now we have a group of many publications and a printing unit, providing over 1500 titles covering all subjects.

Our head office is situated at Meerut (NCR) which is a hub of publishers and printers. There are no obstructions to interfere with the work process, commitment, or innovative interaction.

Book Publishing Process
“After finalization of new books by the management, they are sent to our editorial team. They are then sent to the proof reading department to study & evaluate the requirements. If the work adapts to our editorial line and we find in it the quality and potential necessary to be published, it immediately enters our ‘Editing Protocol’, after the communication to the author of our interest in its publication and the sending of the corresponding Editing Contract.”

Our books are well illustrated. We take the services of expert illustrators and agree with the author on the type of
collaboration we will have with him, putting them in contact to carry out the teamwork.
First of all, we contact an experienced author to let him/her know that we are interested in publishing his/her work, because it adapts to the values of our publishing house, and then different functions of the process are adopted, such as meetings with the author to talk about his/her work in detail, the possible publication and the signing of the publishing contract in accordance with certain rules and regulations.
After that, we keep on regular communication with the author in regard of necessary improvement and corrections in the script written by him/her.
Our books are well illustrated. We take the services of expert illustrators and agree with the author on the type of collaboration we will have with him, putting them in contact to carry out the teamwork.
The manuscript then passes on to our team of designers, so that they can carry out the work of cover and back cover design, and interior layout of the book. We do not compromise with the quality of book designing and try our best to bring out a book par excellence in designing.
After designing, the book is sent to the proof readers and editor for checking and necessary modifications and amendments in the designed work.
The necessary legal steps of promotion and pre-distribution are carried out.
After proof reading and editing, the work is sent to the author for review and corrections, if any, that must be returned to the publisher for incorporation into the final archive.
The correctness of discrepancies in the work is discussed between the publisher and author to reach out a mutual consensus. Modifications and necessary revisions, if any, are carried out aiming at to bring out a quality book.
After finalization, the book is sent to the printing unit. For this purpose, we have our own printing offset machines. The work is done by a team of expert machine operators.
The final process is book binding and lamination which is done by expert workers to give a long life to the book.
We have a strong distribution network all over the country. The books reach to the schools and students as well through our distributors spread in each and every corner of the country.
The promotional work of the books is carried out with the help of expert marketing staff, press and the active collaboration of the authors.
Today is the age of digitalization. We are trying our best to achieve this goal by preparation of book trailers, in the eBook format, if necessary, and their placement in the sales channels.
Infrastructure
Sangam Group of Publications owns office buildings with warehouses covering an area of more than 50000 Sq. Ft. We have a strong and well versed employed staff of 100 personnel.
Our printing unit named as S.S. Printers is well equipped with two Heidelberg Speedmaster Sheetfed offset machines along with lamination and book binding set-up using the modern technology.

Likewise publishing of high quality school books, we have also expertise in the printing of books as well as different types of jobs using state of the art and modern technology. This work is done by our print partner – S.S. Printers located at Meerut (NCR) nearby our publishing house.
At S.S. Printers, besides printing our own books, we also do different types of job works, right from the designing to the finished stage. Our printing unit has 8 colour as well as 4 colour Heidelberg speedmaster sheetfed offset machines which are run by a team of experienced and expert operators.
The unit has excellent infrastructure with storage capacity for printing paper and finished goods as well. Our modern infrastructure to comply with the clients’ needs gives us diversity to do different types of jobs with expertise.
